Dear Jay,

I am writing to convey my deepest appreciation for the capture support services that you and the crew of the
Merlin provided, at greatly discounted cost, for Wildlife Trust’s 2006 Port Snettisham Marbled Murrelet Project.
But more than that, I want to thank you for your extraordinary energy and enthusiasm.

As you know, the Marbled Murrelet is an endangered species, whose populations are in serious decline in the
lower 48 states. But in the relatively pristine environment of Port Snettisham, they seem to thrive.

Your generous donation of time and services has been invaluable to our research of the important ecological
issues that effect wildlife and humans.  Thank you again on behalf of the Wildlife Trust board and staff.

Sincerely,

Scott Newman DVM, Ph.D.
