Harv & Marv’s Outback Alaska has a number of direct whale-watching competitors with
operations in Juneau, Alaska. The two of us are so confident in our boats, our service, and your
satisfaction that we are willing to offer a basic comparison of ourselves to the competition (complete with
links!), so you can easily make the best choice for your specific needs and desires.
Pretty much all of the whale-watching boats operating out of Auke Bay have US Coast Guard licensed
captains, safe boats, heated cabins, hydrophones, modern electronics, and so-forth; those things should
be a given, not a companies' major marketing points. We are all looking at the same whales, porpoises,
seals, and scenery. Where the companies differ is in the personalization and details of the experience the
customers have.
